Life is Fleeting!

Let us learn to make the most out of each moment of our lives.

June 5, 2026

“Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” (Psalm 90:12 NIV)

We forget that our lives are finite, temporary.  Life happens.  And when life happens, we are usually not ready for it.  We forget that our days are numbered.  God want us to learn to cherish each moment, for we do not know what tomorrow will bring.  Therefore, we are to make the most of each day.

This scripture is a foundational verse for living with intention and gratitude.  It is learning to do everything with intention—making the most out of each situation that arises.  Then being thank for that moment.

I was single for 20 years—through my 30’s and 40’s, raising my sons by myself.  While going through it, at the time seemed hard.  In retrospect even though it was hard and sometimes hard to enjoy, there were a lot of wonderful moments and great memories.  That I cherish.   I am so blessed because of those years, because my sons are amazing and wonderful.

Then God blessed me with a wonderful husband.  Something I had been praying for, for many years.  I am thankful.  I am blessed. I try to tell him everyday how blessed I am.  How much I appreciate him and our time together.   I cherish him.

Why am I telling you this, because we take things for granted.  We forget that life is fleeting.  It is learning to turn our simple moments into our most precious moments.  God gave us life so that we might enjoy all things. This is something we all need to remember. God Bless.  Amen.
